Why TMA World?
Thought Leadership
Our Thought Leadership
Our curiosity and fascination about the world of work, whether it be face to face interactions or virtual working, is boundless. This enthusiasm has led us to become thought leaders in developing talent for the borderless workplace, meaning we are always at the forefront when it comes to trends and insights in the skills required to thrive in the international workplace.

Thinking Out Loud
Sharing our ideas with the world is in our company DNA.
As well as articles and chapters in HR journals and books, Terence Brake, TMA World’s Head of Innovation & Learning has published the following titles:
- Where in the World is My Team? Making a Success of Your Virtual Global Workplace. Jossey-Bass/Wiley, 2008.
- Managing Globally. Dorling-Kindersley, 2002.
- The Global Leader: Critical Factors for Creating the World Class Organization. Irwin/McGraw-Hill, 1997.
Thinking, Not Just Doing
Behavioural change is important, but it is only part of the learning equation. To do without thinking is mindless behaviour promoting conformity rather than adaptability. At the other end of the spectrum, of course, to think without doing defeats the purpose of training. Successful learning is a balancing of thinking and doing.
Thinking Concretely
Abstract thinking never overrides our primary goal of delivering highly practical learning. Our thought leadership is always grounded and developed in the realities of our clients. We prepare learners to deploy our models, tools and best practices immediately and produce impactful results, now.
