High Performance Teams

In the race to develop and sustain competitive advantage, many organizations are recognising the potential competitive power of successful team collaboration. Within the organization this means significantly improved cooperation across business sectors, functions and product teams to increase innovation and speed up implementation. Methods

There are three delivery options for this programme:

4 hour Classroom or Virtual Classroom: Participants explore the challenges and opportunities of the evolving global and virtual workplace and identify best practices. Participants also make linkages to their own virtual environments and identify key developmental areas for themselves and their teams.

1 day Classroom: Participants engage in several experiential activities that lead to a deeper consideration of the six performance zones and associated best practices. Again, linkages are made to the participants’ own real-world virtual workspaces.

2 day Classroom: Participants engage in planning for and conducting several virtual project meetings. The facilitator acts as an observer during the meetings and participates in the debriefing, team assessment, and strategising periods. Linkage and application plans are shared and analysed. Intact teams will generate well-defined team development plans.

Global Team Navigator e-learning

As part of the programme participants will use the Global Team Navigator team performance e-tool.

For Intact Teams: Team members complete the Global Team Navigator Team Assessment. The results show how the team is performing in each of the six performance zones and identifies development challenges. This is a robust and dynamic tool for accelerating virtual team performance.

For Individuals: Individual participants complete the Global Team Navigator Individual Assessment. The results indicate where the individual is strong or needs to develop in relation to supporting the six performance zones of global virtual team success. Members of intact teams can, of course, complete both the Team and Individual Assessments.
