Effective Presentations

Presentations are used to provide information, influence, persuade, sell, recommend or gain approval, arouse interest, generate ideas, and create enthusiasm. Designing, developing, and delivering excellent presentations that achieve their purpose depends on analysing the audience and focusing on their interests and needs. This is vital when presenting to senior managers, customers, high-level contacts, or to international or multicultural audiences. The presenter must be able to establish a shared understanding with the audience through effective, targeted communication. The Effective Presentations programme addresses all of these issues in a highly interactive way, and includes active practice of presentations and simulations of question and answer sessions.
