Diversity Effectiveness Toolkit

More than ever before, the quality of business relationships matters. Being competitive in the global marketplace is highly dependent on 1) becoming an employer of choice for the best global talent, and 2) connecting with key customers in markets around the world. Diversity and inclusion are the means by which these capabilities are developed. While the terms ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion’ are well known in the business world, there are often major gaps between theory and practice. The Diversity Effectiveness Toolkit helps companies close the gaps and transform human differences into core assets.

  • Methods

    Logical Structure:
The Toolkit is divided into three developmental modules that take the user on a journey from understanding key concepts, through self analysis, and into the application of skills such as mind management, and emotional intelligence.

    Interactivity:
Learning activities such as the analysis of workplace scenarios are integrated into each unit so that reinforcement of key content and feedback is immediate.

    Self-Analysis:
Embedded into Module 2 is the Cultural Adaptability Index. This is an online questionnaire and feedback report that enables the user to identify personal strengths and development areas in relation to personal adaptability in a diverse environment.

    Job Aids:
At the end of each module are job aids that can be used as ongoing reference tools. They provide the user with checklists, processes, tips, etc.
